Our Strategic Pillars

Women in Real Estate (WIRE) Kenya operates through four focused pillars that drive member growth, industry impact, and long-term sector transformation.

Our History

Women in Real Estate (WIRE) Kenya was launched on November 18, 2016, and formally registered on February 23, 2017, under the Societies Act. Founded by a group of visionary women led by co-founder Robyn Emerson, WIRE set out to link, encourage, equip, and empower women in the real estate professions in Kenya.

Over time, we have grown from a networking community into a research-driven voice for gender equity, marked by milestones such as the 2020 Women in the Built Environment Survey and strategic partnerships that strengthen its influence in the built environment.
